Welp... I thought I wasn't going to make it to bridge day, but then my genius friend had an idea.

I have 3 rigs available, I'd need to rent them all for it to happen at the standard BD rate of 200/rig. (yes I realize it's next weekend)

I got a few 260 sized rigs for average male
one 220 sized rig for a 5'5" female
one beat reactor with raven 243 for a 5'8" male who WILL TAKE IT IN THE WATER
one 5ft2" female sized rig with a round, WATER ONLY

If the weather is going to be as cold as predicted you're either going to have to find someone really dumb or really drunk to take one of those water rigs. Fortunately there is a surplus of both at BD.

I disagree dear sir. I plan to make a water jump. Just this time I am bringing a 3mm wetsuit, and a stashing set of dry clothing at the bottom. Who knows I may even make 2.

Holly shit man. There are starving kids in Africa that may never get their hands on a nutritious BASE rig. And you are going to just slay that bridge and leave it in the bottom of the gorge to rot. You ought to be ashamed of your self. Looks like you wont be packing on the cold wet tarp. Are some up and some down just to keep things interesting? take a gun and dont stop for gas in Charleston. Can I borrow your wetsuit to do a water jump? Either that or im taking nates rig into the trees to stay dry(er)!

These rigs are sized only for female Asian gymnasts. If you are a female Asian gymnast, or are female and have a build like one and are at Bridge Day please find me.

Let me weigh this out :

A) Have you use my wetsuit, and most likely pee in it
OR
B) have a tree landing with Nate's round..

I pick option B.

on a more realistic note I have a 6.5mm farmer john top you can use, as you are only about 5 inches too tall for my full size suit.

If you paint your whole body in Nuskin, you will be waterproof. Let me know if you are not gonna jump the round. There are two people in line after you. You know the rules, no packed rigs at the end of the day.

Im jumping it alright. Im just gonna borrow the russians farmer john thingy to stay warm.

Heck, I'm considering jumping in a 3 mil wetsuit planning on landing in the landing area. Christ, its gonna be cold (and maybe wet) on that bridge.

Guys...I hate to break it to you but a wet suit isnt going to keep you any warmer in this situation. Wetsuits keep the body warm by trapping and heating the water that is in contact with your body. Its not going to make a difference if you are getting in then getting right out. The only way a wetsuit is going to keep you warm at BD is if you piss in it first, which really might not be a bad idea if you plan on going in that freezing water

If you plan on getting wet you need to wear wool. When cotton get's wet it pulls heat away from the body whereas wool does not. Even if you dont plan on getting wet wool socks would be a great idea just in case.

Depends. If you jump and then have to sit in the Boat that picks you up wet for 10 min. the suit will definitely help.

I was dive master for 3 years and I must say a wet suit even if your in and out will help keep you warm. Hell if your wearing it on the bridge you might even get too hot!
