Re: [base75] puussys
Hi, I'm new to the forum and was wondering how you put up a post. I was attracted to your post for obvious reasons. I'm looking to beat the world record for the lowest gig and want to base jump into a creator and need help to know how to go about training for it. Any ideas?

You've got the sequence a bit wonky . . .

You "crater" then you meet your "creator."

"Lowest gig" wasn't bad though . . .

Shit you know what I mean. Any ideas where you can jump to get somewhere like 400m below sea level. I heard somewhere in Mexico you could jump and then cave well below sea level. Your right though, might be to see the creator in the crater. Good song lyric or title.

What about your cave? Is it deep enough?

I doubt you're actually serious about your original post but if you are,

where are you located and what's your current experience level?

actually, it can be a fine place to meet folks. you really should not ever receive that much useful stuff on a public forum. it permits too many unprepared people to hurt themselves. meet folks, then exchange PM's, emails, phone numbers, snail mail, whatever.

the key is to be viewed as capable and qualified. if you don't make an effort, few here will do so for you.

i'm just trying to find the right venue and then how to get particpants trained by the right people. I'm trying all avenues. This is how I raise money for children in developing countries. www.music4children.org for more info and the other world records I broke.

the well known cave in Mexico has been closed for some time. the local authorities decided they did not like the jumping. giving you much more information publicly could enable someone to ignore the wishes of the locals and make the situation worse.

training for BASE generally involves a lot of time under a parachute (preferably skydiving). it CAN also be done with far less training at very friendly objects. not many will help with the later.

Thanks mate. No we have to take the safe option so we'll look at a school in the UK to get us underway. Thanks so much for your help mate, it's muchly appreciated.
