I love guns!
I am very interested in purchasing this quad 50 caliber anti-aircraft gun from Arm USA. It's legal! Perfect for home defense!

I'm a big fan of flamethrowers too! They were legal to possess when I lived in Texas!

First there is no such thing as over kill.
Second a flame thrower could actualy be very usefull around the house. We used little five gallon propane burners to burn the feilds around the ranch every year. That would be sooo much easier.
As to the gun, what's the story? Is is a class three fully auto? Is it original? What year? Or is it some thing tha has been built up from semi autos to look like a battery?

It's called a Quad. It's not fully auto. It's been converted to semiauto. There are 4 50 caliber guns. It's a WWII weapon. It's an anti-aircraft gun. Perfect for plinking out at the local dropzone! You can look at it ARM USA

Think this person is the one I'm thinking of ? . It no flame thrower or multi-barrel lead slinger. Ask JSBird if they can post a pic. of his EDM & kit. That thing carries bragging right and is bad to the bone.

How well does that thing shoot sence the barrel is a take down? I'd think one that was sqrewed solidly into the receaver would groop better then a design like that?

Re: [RiggerLee] I love guns!
I really can't say for sure how much removing/installing the barrel affect POI with that gun. The only time I've done that I have also removed the scope and usually load, range, etc. as well. So far I haven't had to dial in more than 1MOA to get my 600yd zero again.

If you don't take the barrel off (or scope, etc.) it seems to be approaching 0.5MOA with me being the limiting factor.

Ya guns & shooting anytime you like is fun forsure.
That fucking Rig is BadAss. I wish I had a BIG Hammer like a EDM and throwing-out 750 Amax's . Biggest LR Rig I got is a .300 WM shooting 190 grn. VLD's & it get's out there OK. I mostly just shoot a .308 most days but it starts to hit the wall about 1027 yrd.

Here is Pic. of 600 yrd. target from this week Tues. night practice with another short range Rig & shooting some little 68 grn. weight Bulets. I have shot better but Not to shitty a group for evening casual fun shooting . Managed to keep all 20 in the 9-ring with a few in the 3" X-ring .

600 yards, but using a ( 300 yrd. target with 3-inch center-X )
Cold & dirty bore - Strait 20 rounds fired with No wind spot shots prone, off the bi-pod and rear-bag. & Shooting ( 68 grain Berger's ) in light wind.

Wow, 600 yards is some serious shit!!

I have a couple of torekov 762 x 25 pistols.
At the range I work on quickly drawing and
firing till the clip is empty. After 2 visits
got to where I could put all 8 in the head
from about 30 feet or so.

Seems plenty good for my purposes Wink

This is pretty comical! It's so powerful that when someone shoots it, their ear protectors come flying off and sometimes they are launched several feet backwards and they drop the rifle!!!!

Now the real cool dude!

The only guy that mounted the weapon in his shoulder properly was the last dude in the first video.

Dude, if my history is correct. I think that even that Commie Bastard Booth, used to shoot a cheepAss Chink import Torekov also.
WOW you got all 8 in the head ? he was not Near as good as you buddy. he only put One in the Head.

Funny.

Of course shooting paper is easier.

And yes, the guns were cheap, paid
$100 each and they came with extra
magazines and holsters. Plus I got
a whole case of ammo for $180.

I'da know man, trusting your life to those pistols is a bit risky. I suggest a small backup like this for someone of your skill levelLaugh

Re: [chipm50] I love guns!
Better a cheepAss Commie import in the hand than a new Colt in the Glove-box when you got to use one.
You will need 2 Tokarev like you have. One for each hand so you can keep firing when one Stove-pipes. <|; )
I went threw a ChiCom and Rusian import phase like that, when in my Teen's and have shot the dogcrap out of those import East block Makarov & Tokarev pistols. There cheep and are actually pretty reliable for feed and extraction with that surplus ammo . Fuckers are all steel and boat anchor heavy though.

That depends on the age of your weapon. Plenty of American soldiers have gone into battle with M1 Garands and extra clips.

Re: [TomAiello] I love guns!
No he is absolutely right. a Clip is for the hair Or a Clip is also used so as not to burn your fingers when smoking Dope & there's a Clip to hold a paper together.
I can tell by your post that you have most likely never shot a Garand and are a complete firearms Garand NOOB to even think that a clip is in any way shape or form a detach Magazine. For the Garand You load some rounds held in a 'Clip' and is feed through the feed and extraction Port on top of Receiver to fill the internal Magazine compartment. Not to be confused with a detachable Magazine system that is used in today's semi-auto firearms or feeding and storage of ammunition called a Magazine. Both do hold & feed ammo to the Host but Clip & Mag. are 2 different animals in design.

Re: [RayLosli] I love guns!
I could be mistaken, but I don't think he's disagreeing with you. Like you said, the M1, and the '03 before it, have a magazine which is a fixed part of the weapon and not removable like it is with most combat rifles since. Therefore when you load it (the M1, not the '03), you are inserting an enbloc clip. I've had a couple of these proud old warhorses and loved 'em both. I had to sell them to pay off my hooker debts.

And I dunno if it's still the case, but when I worked for our Uncle, 5.56 came on stripper clips too. Obviously they had to be put into the detachable box magazine to go bang...

Maybe it's from the dub dub two where the terminology problem comes from. Or straight thug ass gangsters. One of the two.

Huh. Same video that's used as "guy fires .577 T-Rex without dropping it" at the end of that video is posted here as somebody firing a .700 Nitro Express. Also, while I'm no gun guy, the .577 T-Rex in your video doesn't look much like the one here. What gives?

Re: [460] I love guns!
Adding more Luv to the subject of firearms. Went out today with a few guys for some Long-range steel. I did a 1st round dial-up & Hit on a plate with my .308 @ 830 yards. Not bad shooting but that range is pretty easy to call and then bang with a Stick you got a few thousand rounds thru.
BUT that is NOT what I am bragging on & smiling about.
For a ( 1st Round call and Hit ) .
Called the wind hold @ 1.5 Left for a quartering head-wind and dialed-up 44 moa Holdover & I sent down range a 190 Grain Berger VLD out my .300wm for 1st round hit & ring on a 18"x18" plate @ 1325 yards . ... <|;)
