Re: Facts - and then there's the internet
A major contributor to misunderstandings in these
times is the speed at which misinformation travels.
The mantra "take only pictures, leave only footprints"
began to disappear with black cordura and the Pegasus.
What has become of the sport is as bright as a custom rig.
There are now so many options offered to so many BASE
jumpers, and so many of us have participated in the
act of jumping modified exits and landing areas.
Is it fair now to chop down a jumper whose name you
do not even know, and whose face you have not even seen?
Myself I have had differences of opinions over the years
with many jumpers in many situations, maybe even you.
The thing is, the world is constantly changing, growing.
I appreciate each individuals way of looking at life, and BASE.
Let's not start another war, the World has enough already.
I could go on, but my sweetheart says it's "bedtime".
PS. Littering is a human condition, not exclusive to BASE jumpers.
Will BASE jumpers be the first to evolve into non trashing humans?
