If Red Bull was involved they would set the coaster on fire during the stunt and post it all over youtube.

Very cool. Very innovative. He is most definitely "in the moment" in those pictures, nothing but him the skates and the track. It's that simplicity that draws me to BASE, or one factor at least. I'm not saying what he did was simple.

 

no red bull would have cut half the coaster down to get a better shot....

omg. that's insane. I'm surprised the gforces didn't fling him off the curve.

he went really slow. he's also holding onto handrails.

Still.. it's quite a lot of speed going down the slope and right into a curve. Everytime I do a a roller coaster ride like that, i can feel the huge g-forces right around that curve. He must have pretty strong hands to grip that tightly to the poles.

he has too much friction relative to his weight to gain the speed of a roller coaster.
