ZP patches on an F-111 canopy?
ok, so i have this old mojo, the thing has several hundred jumps at least and prolly a dozen little tears and abrasions-all no bigger than a quarter inch in length. in all honesty it flies tremendously still and wouldnt dare consider paying to have it patched at this point in time however, i did some time ago tear a brand new ZP pilot chute pca'ing some one. would it be a bad idea to use that ZP fabric from the torn pc to patch the mojo?(which again is F-111 and old as hell) just lookin for some feedback, thanks

I got an ace patched up with zp, no problems with flight or heading control.

The two fabrics may stretch differently if the patch is loaded, which could cause strain on the stitching. However, I doubt if it would be enough strain to cause any problems.
