Anyone have any experiece being charged with trespassing on an A? Please PM with some advice and outcomes if you dont mind.

In NC you can only be charged with trespassing if there is a sign that says NO TRESPASSING or you have been told prior to you trespassing not to be there.

5 of us were caught in a Quary in the middle of the day. The owners of the Quary called the cops,,,when the cops showed up the owners wanted us charged with trespassing, I spoke and told them that we had not been advised that we were trespassing and the cops told the owners that they could not charge us until we were advised either by signs or verbally that we would be charged if we trespassed. So they let us go. I have the whole thing on video,,,,

There were no trespassiong signs on fence. Little old lady called in a suicide attempt. Redneck firefigher yelling dont do it man.... everything will be ok. Funny as shit. landowner didnt press any charges but US Cellular has.

should have told the firefighter that his words of encouragement saved your life... rig was just in case you cahnged your mind on the way down. job well done for the fireman. pat on back.

Take photos of the fence and surrounding area to prove that there were not any No Trespassing signs visible. You can even call the magistrates office and pretend you want to post some land and ask what the law is and they will tell you.

A good lawyer will get this thrown out, no problem!

In some towns there are no trespassing laws making it a misdemeanor. Outside of town it may be under state law where it is a criminal charge. Misdemeanor trespass -vs- criminal.

I had a criminal trespass which cost me all of $50. Be contrite if you go in front of the judge and don't try to talk your way out of it.

where you straight day blazing or just trying to peep on the little old lady?

i was dayblazing at sunset......i couldnt see in the old ladys window to well when it got dark

busted with 2nd degree trespass on tower. Judge said he knew all about basejumping and that i should never come back to his county(Gaston) again, but he let me off with a prayer for judgement. I went back of course

admit nothing, deny everything : )

Have your lawyer tell US Cellular that you'll be more than happy to switch your phone coverage over to them and sign a two year contract if they drop the charges.

what to do when busted?

step 1: get on the internet
step 2: post an admission of guilt, and a timeline
step 3: get charged.

crap.

i think you accidently left out the word alledgedly, before everywhere the words jump, jumped, or tresspassed appear

...pull your pants down and see what happens...

Usually guys pull their pants down BEFORE they bust.

...unless they're around hot base jumper chicks

i've been in front of a judge a few times for this very reason... the judge told me that after "9/11" all power towers and communication towers would get a jumper FEDERAL trespassing charges.... luckily, i was with magot and he is blessed so we always got off easy.
I was busted before and after 9/11 and got lucky both times so i actually don't have any useful information for you..... be polite and wear a suit...... that's the best i've got
