I was going to tag this one onto Gerald's latest, but while doing so I see it got deleted. Guess the Furher had an effect . . .

This one is more audio than visual. Back then our video cameras weren't all that lumen sensitive.

This is a building called Symphony Towers. The year is 1988. Our small crew consisted of me, Todd S. Troy F. Ralph M. and Brett.B and we were the first to jump a building in San Diego. We jumped it at 16 floors. And when it grew to 34 stories (not on this vid) I was the very first to freefall any building in San Diego.

If you made your first building jump at night you'll recognize the vibe . . .

Reminds me of my first B when we had to wait 40 min for some cops that were pulling someone over on the street below the exit point.

The first B i jumped was a 240ft'er that i found one night when i while looking at the one across the street. A few weeks later I was on top with Tim holding my pilot chute. "Ok, im ready, camera on? ok, here goes, aw, fuck!" We spent about 3 hours up there on various car, dog walker, security, and cajones holds. "Ok, im ready, camera on? ok, here goes... Finally I just said fuckit im done. Tim says "hey let me wear your helmet" why? "battery died about an hour ago, i didn't want to tell you I walked down, Tim jumped about half an hour later. I went back a few days later and free-fell it with a friend as ground crew. Awesome, got me my #.
