3D Human Flight producer Carl Samson had a perfect BASE jump from the Mushroom on the Swiss Mt. Eiger!!!! Congrats on your first and welcome to the world of BASE!

Of course we send someone of the Mushroom with his first basejump... Especially if the base situation in LB is tricky.

But hey, at least he was using a BASER! If he brainlocked and forgot to pitch he might still get the opportunity to utilize the patented (and far superior) premature deployment system which comes standard with all BASER systems. Wink

How is the jump from the mushrom compare to Kjerag?

Must have been a cool first time jump ;-) I know he decided to start basejumping in 2002, and from then have been in touch with some of the best jumpers around doing skydiving. I believe he was well trained and prepared for the jump. Maybe better than most who gets in to the sport. Ideal for a first time jumper? I dont know.

Anyway interested in how you define the Mushrom exit as a first time jump.

Where do we find the best first time cliffs around in world?

"Where do we find the best first time cliffs around in world?"

usually on bridgesTongue

not in areas that already have to deal with a lot of carnage...

Exactly, you just do not do that due to respect of the locals!

Now we are talking about the moral along with the locals, not the jump itself?

There is one exit in Troll wall "good" enough for first time jumpers as well, but you just do not do that? Or what?

Re: [434] RBAF
i think the right individual (life time skydiver)can exit an overhanging terminal wall (for a first base) and do fine.

good for everyone? no of course not.
