Bridge Day Video Fest 2009
The 2009 Annual Bridge Day BASE VideoFest will take place at River Expeditions' Red Dog River Saloon on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 9pm.

For all the event detail, rules, prizes, and registration information please go here: http://www.bridgeday.info/videofest.php

NOTE: This year we are dropping the "pre-screening" and mail-in registration and adding a “crowd response” score. Registration will be a first come first serve scramble at the day/evening of the event. But you can reserve a slot by emailing me ahead of time (by October 10th). Limit is still 12 videos.

We look forward to another year of spectacular footage, carnage, and party tricks.

CU at the Bridge,

Donk

One of these years Donk, I'm going to enter that video comp! Angelic

On that video note...
Does anyone have a 16mm film projector that they can bring to Bridge Day this year?

I have some old footage from 1978 that might be there for your viewing pleasure...

Alphabet Soup makes a good point. Wink

The 10 minute thing is to keep the event time length reasonable. 12 Vides at 10 minutes each is 2 hours not counting 2-5 minutes between each video. 3 hours is a long time as it is.

We tried pre-screening before the event and used less but longer "qualifying" videos a few years back, but way to many video showed up at the event that were not screened and to long. And it is tough to say "no" to someone who has put the time into making a decent vid. For now this event is still more about fun and watching some flicks.

We have discussed expanding the event and including 2 categories; "shorts" and "features" but time and commitments have prevented this so far.

It is in the works but definiately wont be this year.

I'm kind of a rabble rouser where I work so every time I ask for a week off I get the raised eyebrow!

But yeah, I'd love to be there, and I'm working on it . . .

haha i vote for 5 minutes max due to the limited attention span of the judges and levels of intoxication witnessed in the past. : )

make that 2 minutes : p
