I just wated to warn everyone not to eat a big soggy gas station ham sandwitch before going out to climb a 2000' A.

Agreed. I've never gone wrong with viking food. Viking imitators have treated me pretty poorly, though.

It's not really that funny. I stopped at the Sunnoco on the way out to the jump and they had a big ham sandwitch for only 1.99 and I was really hungry. It looked really good in the package, but when I took the first bite the bun tasted like it had been sitting in the Snake River for a week and the ham was worse than Green Machine's little sister. I ate half of it anyways and threw the other half out the window. I never quite threw up but the climb was hell. The jump went great though.

at least you weren't 1700 ft up and told your buddy to jump first because you were about to have a sudden bought of explosive poop.

Ya I can attest to just how bad that sandwich really was... sitting in the same car was too close to it. We both almost got sick on the climb, but both jumps went great
The climb was a bitch, my first slider up jump, first climb on an A that was higher than 380' so that 2000ft kicked my ass. But big thanks to hikeat for getting my ass out there and being patent on the climb.

Lessons learned
-stick with energy bars/water
-2000ft is a long f’en climb
-must get elevator working

now I always carry paper napkins in the
truck, but in Japan I did have to use one
of my socks.

FYI - food that comes from gas stations
should be avoided, unless it is 3 AM and
you are blind, non-verbal drunk then it
does not matter cause you already know
you are gonna puke & shit - ha ha.
