I worked the Montana Cup of Kayaking a few years ago and I got a chance to watch Tyler paddle and watch some videos of his travels, the dudes has skills. Nice dude too.

i mean, honestly, that is amazing what he did. I would never have the athleticism nor balls nor whatever to even contemplate that. With that said, I'd have to say that was a pure 50/50 shot, and if he didnt make it, that would be prime candidacy for a darwin award.

20ft was the biggest waterfall I have ever done and it was both un-nerving and thrilling, I would never do a drop that tall. I know to many boaters with broken backs.

given that I have a Master's Degree in Economics,
I think I still explained what you were getting at
which as in the eyes of an ignorant ANY jump is
a 50-50 thing..... but I got what you mean and
yes the reserve helps to up one's chances.
