The event is organized by the Sarawak Tourism and Malaysia BASE Association (MBA) together with Gary Cunningham's team.

Location: Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia
Building: Sanyan building (432ft)
Exit point: Roof
Landing area: Big open area at the front of building.
Date: 30th October - 1st November 2009

Last weekend, Cpt. Aziz Ahmad, President of Malaysia BASE Association did some trial jumps off the Sanyan Building in Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia. We have got the approvals to have a BASE event there this year.

The event will take place on the weekend immediately after KL Tour 2009. Jumps will begin on Friday (30th October 2009) for half the day and continue the entire day of Saturday. On Sunday, there is a plan to visit some local heritage and drinking. Will provide more detailed info later. We are still working on getting clearance to do more jumps for half the day on Sunday.

There is no fees to participate in this event. You are on your own to get to Sibu, Sarawak. There are flights (provided by Air Aisa and MAS) from KL to Sibu. Discounted rate is provided for accommodation at a Hotel in Sibu (walking distance from the building). There may be a small fee for the local heritage tour on Sunday, which includes food and drinks and shows. We still working on getting sponsors to have this covered.

My bad. Just realized that similar thread has already been created by Gary. Must be the "Tuak" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuak) that Cpt. Aziz and Azuan got for me from Sarawak.
