Re: [AndrewKarnowski] Clibming gear found in Utah (Not Moab)...
I'm only being vague because of this website's rules on naming objects. But I have made this exact same post on rockclimbing.com with the same username.
http://www.rockclimbing.com/...d;page=unread#unread But if you are asking why I'm being vague about the gear, I just want to make sure that the right owner gets their gear back. But I guess I could always ask for a drivers license and record the name and address, in case the real owner shows up. What do you think?
All in all, the only reason I picked up the gear is because no one was on the wall or near by it. It is a pretty open area. Also, the thought had come to mind that someone had left it there on purpose. But because of how exposed it was to the sun, just knowing the effects of sun on gear, I rulled that out. But maybe for clibming gear that is not an issue.
Anyway... One of the local jumpers here PM'd me and gave me a couple locations to post the gear.
Thanks all for the suggestions and feedback!
