Basejumper.com - archive

Is anyone or does anyone know of any jumpers living in or relatively close to el paso? I know of one jumper that is here ocasionally but I was just out to one local object and have a feeling it is being jumped by someone beside myself and there is nothing around here forever so who is it?! It would be awesome to have someone else to jump with out here so please pm me or something if you know someone out here or that maybe passes through here sometimes so I don't have to talk to myself on the climb... ;-)

Wats up freefly trumpet. Im currently living in Las Cruces, NM. Although I have not my first jump YET due to money issues, I am still very passionate about skydiving/base jumping. If you ever need some ground crew, i got you! Within the next couple of months I will be buying my first rig. I have about 145 sky dives~ Hollah at me.

with 145(you dont seem sure) skydives... I would highly recomend NOT rushing into it. Read everything you can on here(especially the articles section) and really try to understand as much as you can. Read the articles about purchasing gear before you go out and spend money on base gear. I don't know anything about you and only each individual jumper truly knows what they are capable of mentally/physically. And sometimes they are wrong themselves. Just take the most conservative approach you can to this sport and learn everything you can before you get into it. That is the best advice/opinion I can give you and is definately not an expert one.
