So our favorite poster PM'd me to tell me she had created a character in her forthcoming "book" based on ME! I love it! (Since she's spent SO much time with me)

Oh...and that I'm obsessive...but I'm going in a book she's writing.

Anyway...here's how she describes me:

I know Harvey, I've seen him jump and jumped with him. I've never served with him but a very good friend of mine has and can attest to his duty to our country.

You on the other hand are fishing for attention which you can't seem to get enough of. You (IMO) have a chemical imbalance in your gray matter and should probably seek immediate medical attention.

Not that I would expect Harvey to follow this bit of advice....but if you base a character on Harvey, as you stated to him, for a "book" or story and that story causes detrimental harm to his reputation you can be sued for slander. I'm sure Harvey knows this because he's a published author... You write on a forum. There is a big difference between you and Harvey, you lack the maturity to understand that, and now I've wasted far too long explaining this to someone that will never understand.

Are you really writing a book? ITS GONNA BE A BAD BOOK. Its gonna suck. No one is gonna buy it. You are gonna be sad that no one likes your book. Lots of people will laugh at you and your shitty book. You will look at yourself in the mirror and see a failure.

I think it's okay that non-jumpers can post on here, I think it's okay (even interesting) for you to publish your interviews on here, and it doesn't bother me a bit that people get riled up over it. It kinda makes me laugh and feel good, like climbing the rope in gym class.


I'm sure you have people you trust in your life. People you trust to, say, pick up a box of tampons, some Midol, or maybe even some Lexapro to even out your incessant, pseudo-intellectual, attention-whorish ramblings. I venture to say that you have no idea what it means to trust someone with your life, though.

I've never met Harvey, but am willing to bet we share the same experience of being scared shitless far away from home, totally dependent upon a team operating successfully to stay alive. You have no concept of that, which is fine, the experience isn't for everybody. However, you denigrate the trust that is built by such experiences by claiming to know how he should or shouldn't be judged trustworthy to jump, as if it's the same thing as ordering the correct topping on a pizza.


I wish I could be more articulate in replying to this particular quote, but there's already three pitchers in me, so all bets are off. Anyway, for a military person, suggesting someone should be discharged or commenting on their proficiency should be said by SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THE FUCK THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.
