My dog pissed in my Blackjack

Aside from resisting the temptation to put a bullet in his head for this betrayal, this canopy has been sitting for a day and had time to dry. I wiped it off but would it be better to hose and hang dry? Any issues with the urine impacting the fabric integrity down the road?

Any input would be appreciated.

How big an area? If its just a couple of square feet wash the area GENTLY in a mild detergent. If it is really large and foul smelling, an ammonia bath. Poynters manual states that up to 23% ammonia at 70 degrees for 100 hours has little if any damaging effect. Rinse gently a couple times and hang to dry, if its windy you can dry it fast with a couple of helpers. DO NOT OVER AGITATE!

You have to train your dog better. I trained mine as a packing weight. He will lie on my container as long as it takes :-)
