I know the Pilot makes the difference.

but lets say the same "good" pilot flies both suits which one would he (or her) notice to have the better or faster etc. perfmance?

From my eye they seem to be of the same size.

so are they comprable or am i wrong?

I would say Phantom 2...

P2 for sure. There are other things to look at than just laying two similarly sized wings side by side or on top of one another. A few contributing factors are inlet location, thickness of wings while inflated, leg width, arm angle (s), etc.

I have probably 100 skydives and 5 base jumps on an S3 and around 40 skydives and 15 base jumps on a P2. You can make both go pretty fast forward, but the P2 glides better. Also, the better inlets on the p2 make it inflate faster and get you moving forward in more of a hurry. Not that it matters much in base if thats all youll use it for, but the P2 is about 100 times easier to backfly effectively.
