What to focus on??
hello all

I've been out of skydiving for 3 years now. I finished on 450 jumps, loads of accuracy jumps.

I'm going to start jumping again with the focus of base. When i finished i didn't feel anywhere near confident enough with my tracking skills to even think of BASE.

I would like to get on a FJC for early next year.

So apart from tracking, flying with a large 7 cell, what other areas should i be concentrating on??

Thanks for your input

Also if you're on a large canopy, practice using one toggle and one riser to control and flare the canopy. I don't believe it's listed in that document.

It offers a lot more control to steer and land than just risers alone. couple the landing with a PLF. You may not need to PLF however, prepare for it.

Good luck

Try and find someone to learn to BASE pack - it helped save time on my FJC knowing how to beforehand. If possible do some heli / balloon jumps, although we all know they are rare as rocking horse shit (well in the UK anyway).

Hookitt recently reintroduced me to the CR canopy drills from a post here, I spent so many jumps doing those... they helped no end.

Once back current a little, do some CReW... I found this helped with getting to know the movements of subtle input relative to someone..... and its scary and fun!
