Where do you leave your bags?
So I see people hiking up the terminal walls with their bags full of gear (rig, tracking suit / wingsuit etc), but where do you guys leave your bag (and/or any other stuff) on the top before your jump? Do you hike back to take the stuff or what?

Same applies to other non terminal objects...

Ever hear of sherpas, young one ? "BASE jumpers to be" spend their 1st year learning about the sport and carrying the above mentioned bags down once enough accumulate on top of a cliff. With tall antennas it's a lot easier - you just throw it down the wind sector, it also acts as a good Wind Drift Indicator.

These guys are just joking. You have to walk back to the top and get your bag then walk back down the trail.

That works on the terminal walls here too, except we tie a worn out 42" pilot chute to the stashbag, throw in about a 10lb rock, and toss it over the edge in the direction you are going to jump. Same idea, gives you a good indication of the winds all the way down the wall.
