What you really need is something like the paratrooper jump towers or the Brooklyn landmark from the '39 Worlds Fair...

That CAD program looks familiar. Did you use CIMCAD or ExpertCAD to produce your design?

I've actually jumped two towers that look pretty much like that, except instead of a donut, the exit point is just a "+" of catwalks, held up by suspension cables. And I know of another one that looks much the same, but is taller, that some guys were trying to set up an event at a few years back.

I wouldn't bother. It's around 300 feet and guyed on each side with wires every 90 degrees. Since i was already there, I climbed part way up and left the rig on the ground.

Here's a crude drawing.

Yep. That's one I was thinking about. In my log book I called it "The Iron Cross" for it's shape. It's a very popular object.

I doubt that they are AM; originally I believe that that they are the old Western Union microwave repeater towers. I don't know if they are still used for that or if they have since been modded for other uses.

Yea, I scoped out that one I posted earlier in the thread, evidently it takes a LOT of wires to keep it from falling over...
