Hokay. So. I'm finally getting around to buying some travel/health insurance for a trip to Africa and Europe that starts on February 17, 2009.

I'm looking into IHI Bupa (www.ihi.com) because it's been recommended here before. I'm also looking at MNUI (www.mnui.com) because a friend recommended it.

Has anyone had any experience with either of these companies, and if so, how did it go? Would you recommend them? Anyone have any other suggestions worth looking into?

I'm hoping to buy a plan within the hour before I see something shiny and get distracted, if I even have that long. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

I just crashed in LB a few weeks ago.
So far they have been awesome.

Seems like they are even going to pay the helirescue.

i use ihi everytime i leave the states.
havent had to make a claim yet tho...
