So I finally graduated from school and earned my commission and now I have until 22 July to report to Ft. Benning. Since I have nothing better to do with my time, I plan to spend most of the month of June on the road looking for fun and nice objects. Right now I'm thinking about heading west from New York towards the Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, and Kansas area and then eventually making my way to Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. But my plans are completely flexible.

Let me know if you are in any of those areas and feel like meeting up or if you have suggestions for places to go. A healthy pay raise also came with my commission so I'll be able to afford beer, hard liquor, and things of that nature.

Congrats. Old grad here, G-1, and also Sport Parachute Team member. You must be headed to BOLC2 at Benning. My son just finished BOLC2 and is now headed to Knox for AOBC after some snowbirding.

Did you look in your review mirror when you drove out of Thayer Gate? I didn't

That team is the only reason i made it through the Academy. I have BOLC 2, IOBC, Ranger, and whatever other schools the Army says I need down at Benning so I'll be living there for a while.

I definitely didn't look in my rearview mirror on the way out and I'll try to stay away from that place as much as possible. Of course if I do get sent back it wouldn't be too bad since I know all the local objects and there are a few I never got around to hitting.
