its been a week since i submitted new pics awaiting approval. from the amount of other posts about the wait time and purpose of needing pics approved id say this method needs to be addressed and reconsidered.

im personally bored to death with the same pics revolving on the home page week after week. anyone else feel the same way?

its been asked but not answered, why do pics need approval anyway? were people really posting pics that warrant approval so often that this time consuming method makes sense?

this sport has shown itself to be pretty darn good at self policing maybe give us a chance to do the same for pics and videos. if something is that "out of line" you know 20 motherfuckers will be up in the guys asshole in less than an hour.

its not like most of the pics approved are legal jumps anyway so what is there to approve?

Ok, I can authorize you to do the approvals on the photos. Then you can do them as often as you like. What do you say?

id say you have completely missed the point of the post.
im saying to do away with the approvals period.

id still be interested in a response to this idea. if i was more computer savvy id take you up on your offer, but i can barley get my own photos up loaded without help. how tech is it to approve them?

Here's a fictional story but I bet this is very close to the actual procedures

Log onto basejumper. Read an email that states a picture has been submitted for approval, click link to view picture.

[ ] Approve

[ ] DENY

Select one and click submit

Added options

[ ] Mark usable as avatar

[ X ] DENY USE AS AVATAR!!!! <== This one seems to be Auto selected and ignored

Click on Submit if the top one is actually selected.

I don't have the ability to change the process. I do have the ability to empower other people to do the approvals.

Basically, you have to click another tab in the top bar from the photos section, then look at all the new photos in groups of about 5, then approve or disapprove (you can do the whole group at once, or you can pick ones out to do separately) via a check box.

Knowing full well the paramount importance of plastering pictures of yourself taking a super rad 1 second floater handheld delay from the Potato Bridge - I may as well offer my time approving the above mentioned coolness.

Don't think I won't appreciate it when I post my crappy pictures...I WILL!
