About half a year ago I bought the GoLite Jam2 to use as my "long hike" stashbag. It's 3100cu and it has just enough room to fit my 265 Troll DW in wsExtreme container + tracking pants & jacket or wingsuit + helmet and some water and a dry shirt in it. If I would be buying a new stashbag now I probably would be looking at something just slightly bigger but that one works fine as well. Wouldn't recommend to go any smaller though.

Thanks! I was looking into getting the Jam2 pack, but I think I'll go with something a bit bigger.

Yeah, it really depends. If you want a lightweight and good pack to carry your razor/trango and a wingsuit through 5 hour hike to a big wall the Jam2 will be perfect. If you need to put in there a Gargoyle with 285 Troll, full body armour and a camera halmet with still mounted you need a bigger one. :) I use my Jam2 only when I'm travelling, when doing low and local stuff here at home I use standard Apex stash bag.

You should look into the NEW back country style Apex packs! No foam at all and very durable and very spacious! Very thin can be worn under rig when jumping or rolled up into a fanny pack!
You should check out , I've for plenty of big wall adventures!

I actually checked Apex website out when I was looking for a new stash bag and the backcountry line looks very good! I just happened to get a very good deal on the Jam2 (69,95 or something) so decided to give it a go instead.
