I hate it, and i hate most the people on it. I dont know why i even look at it. It is a perfect example of the more people you get together the lower the collective intellegence is. I feel like almost every opinion and statement i read on their can end with:

"No...but i did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night."

The same thing is happening here.

I'm convinced, or at least I hope, that the already high (and steadily growing) volume of junk on this forum is the product of a small subset of the BASE population, and not representative of us as a whole. It just seems like every second or third post either brings no added value to the conversation (a la base75), is someone judging the actions of another person when they have no business doing so, or is simply someone complaining about things that are really not worth complaining about.

I don't think there's anything that can be done to improve the situation*, but it's nevertheless frustrating and makes me want to participate in the forum less.

* If there's nothing that can be done, the right thing to do is just not let it bother me. I should be out jumping instead of sitting here complaining. The few minutes I put into this post are actually minutes I should have spent on something more rewarding.
