given it's a 5 hour device, half way through is 2.5 hours after starting. so, if left untouched, and started at 0900, half way through would be 1130. (which is the time the second student flipped it back.)

as the first student must have flipped it before the half way mark, they obviously were trying to shorten the class. the second student ended up prolonging it!

my question, which student is being the bigger jerk?
