BASE World: --Please dont grind me up, I'm only trying to be cool and contribute, next week I'm presenting the culmination of what has been about a year's worth of research for a prototype of equipment that at least in the 'virtual world' is going to make BASE jumpers fly farther. My goal here is to help improve tracking efficiency, general wingsuit flying and hopefully one day open up new lines of flight for proximity flying that werent possible before simply because the glide ratio wasnt good enough
I've never hucked a wingsuit off a cliff...I get it
I've never done proximity flying...I get it
I'll upload the final report (lots of pages with pretty pictures and graphs) by the end of this month and you can tear it all up and tell me how little I know about BASE then
But until then:
I humbly ask those of you with cool videos of helmet cam footage of tracking, proximity flying etc for your permission to use those videos in my presentation. I have my own video that I can use, but I know all you cool guys out there have better stuff than I. I'll only be using about 2-3 minutes of vid, so I'm not looking for much. I'd particularly like to use vid that has jumpers using smoke because it helps illustrate the distance achieved during a good track for all the whuffos.
But just FYI, according to the data, if these devices are employed some day...its MIGHT change things up a little bit
