the only way I can prevent him from starting threads is to prevent him from posting at all.

i wasn't aware that threads had to meet certain criteria to be started. i realize that some people do not want to read off the wall comments but hey, free will is a blessing and a curse. has gerald ever done anything to you personally? has he ever said anything that was a blatant lie? he does post some weird stuff, i'll admit that. he goes through some rough times; if posting his thoughts helps him in any way. i say let him do it. often times, he'll say some funny things. deciphering it isn't an easy job but hey, what the hell else am i going to do on a rainy sunday?
