Depends how you pack it into the dbag, and how you launch / hit the water. I'm assuming by good water you mean deep and not going to tow your parachute down stream and drown you. A lot of people do 90 ft into water without parachutes, but it can definitely maim/kill you. One thing to be aware of, like crwper and others have mentioned before, if you launch to hard on an SL/PCA/DBag your canopy will probably inflate behind you in relation to the ground and you might swing backwards. That could cause you to slightly belly flop. Depending how fast your going a slight belly flop can mess you up.

What you need is a 253 Vertigo Dragon, a 4' bridle, and a used 32" F-111 PC.

don't be a pussy.

90' is perfect for a slow gainer, be sure you enter the water straight.
granted, the highest I have done is 81', but you got this. nice and smooth.

EDIT: sans parachute, of course.

Steve Morrell used to do freefalls from 90 feet using a handheld triangular canopy that was developed for speedboaters. The canopy was really small and unstable and was placed under the speedboat pilot and passengers to stop them from skipping on the water endlessly.

Was Steve jumping into water, or on dry land?

water. the only ones i can find now was from a lifeline vest. i just contacted the manufacturer to ask how much the parachute alone is. the parachute and harness are too expensive -- $905.
