You might have better luck if you told people you were a base jumper and not some dumb ass that thinks he can buy a base rig and jump off shit without knowing anyone or anything about it.

seconded. also, there is a guy that scams people with that exact story for skydiving gear. make sure you know who you are dealing with.

i am actually not a base jumper as of this minute. i'm tryin to get this rig so i can go to either apex or tom for a fjc. i'v been ground crew, found new objects and got access to new objects, i have a mentor, and i'v read until my eyes almost were bleeding. with that adressed i hav checked the guy out the best i could. he checks out as legit as you can ask for. works at a dz and has a contact at apex i asked also. thanks for the words of wisdom to u guys btw :) any more help is greatly appreciated!

if its legit then I would pay for shipping through UPS or fedex, much more reliable for international service and im sure it will be easy to call and get a quote from there to here. good luck.

problem is ups and fed-ex is like 350 bones! i checked with usps and they could send the same thing from here to there and it would only be $99. i'd love it if he could send it to me through his postal service for $99!! if shipping ends up being 350 it wouldnt be that good of a deal really :(

Is it such a good deal that you can't find something similar in the states? I can't believe that. Sounds like a pain in the ass I would never order a used rig out of this country or from the US if I lived in Europe. Too many variables if you do it here you can have the guy take it to a known rigger to look it over before he ships it to you or someone your mentor may know. Be patient ask around there is a lot of good used gear hanging around.

its a new rig and is colrs i like and perfect size for me and a good deal but yeah its lookin like a huge PITA! oh well if it works it works and if it dont it dont :) i hope somebody on here knows somebody in spain that can help (fingers crossed)

Calm, willy is my friend and a serius person. willy skidive lillo works and is very well known in Spain. If you want, you can call lillo skydive or base apex. Good shipping and good look in base jumps.
