Early BASE
Anybody can tell me the history of this jump? Or translate the voice over?

Re: [434] Early BASE
Not much really; Stuff about the altitude record being in Pakistan but they don't mention who jumped it, or even if it was jumped at the time, but some try jump the lowest altitudes possible.
It looks like the video isn't complete. There was something similar a few months ago a little longer; Mike Pelkey was up in arms about the dates mentioned.
The wife will moan if I spend the whole day on the computer again instead of looking for work but I might get lucky and find the link.

Re: [kege] Early BASE
hmm, it was this thread; I remember the video being longer though; maybe it was something else...
and I thought I only had trouble with my short term memory...

Re: [pocbase] Early BASE
Sorry, but I think this was Wolfgang Weizenböck from Austria,
the jump was done on 11. August 1966 in the Dolomites.
It was filmed by Lothar Brandler in the Film "Sensation Alpen"

In the last ParaMag was a nice Article about Felbermayr..

Or look at Loic's website in "History" - there you can also find an Article about Erich Felbermayr.

Cordially,
