Last weeks answer was: The blonde

This weeks: The Dividing End

My ID number is quite remarkable. It's a nine-digit number with each of the digits from 1 to 9 appearing once. The whole number is divisible by 9. If you removed the rightmost digit, the remaining eight-digit number is divisible by 8. Removing the next rightmost digit leaves a seven-digit number that is divisible by 7. The property continues all the way down to one digit. What is my ID number?

And in honor of Spring Training:
The gravity on Mars is weaker than Earth gravity. How far can a professional baseball player hit a baseball?

Not at all... You did not state that the players were on Mars. We can only assume that they are on Earth.

That's how they phrase the question. I believe they are talking about how far the baseball can be hit on Mars.Smile

Re: [TizzyLishNinja] Mensa Monday
mars gravity is 38% of earth's gravity.

assuming no air resistance for comparison,

distance is increased by 1/0.38 = 2.63.

So an earth home run consisting of 360 feet or so would travel 947 feet.
