lots. Tower is buried. 2.5m in the meadow, exit requires extra care. 2.5hrs to get up. Gators and suitable clothing a must. Snow shoes also useful Wink

Knows anyone of snowshoes that would fit inside a V3?
I would buy them at once.

Re: [HWalter] ITW
I hope that crampons would be sufficient.
I'll check in Munich and let ya know. I really hate tracking jumps when one is bulked out because of winter survival gear.
Any one else feel this way?
Take care,

Re: [base283] ITW
if you're looking for crampons in munich check "sport schuster".
they got nice and light ones for about 30€ and you can keep them on for the jump (even in a wingsuit).

Last time I was there, I got stuck in the snow and had to turn around. Crampons didn´t help. Snowshoes would have helped

I also don´t like being stuffed, so the alternative would be to leave the snowshoes at the exit. You would have to retrieve them later, so you need at least two pairs.

Those who remember Peter Schäffler will know about the crutches he left on YO and retrieved later.
