statistics
Hi everyone, my name is Blake and I am starting a company that is aimed specifically towards canopy sports. I was wondering if you could give me an estimate of people ages 18-25 and ages 26 and up are actively participating in skydiving, BASE, speed flying, ground launching and if possible both international and national. if you do have info, or know who would have info it would be greatly appreciated. I am applying this information to my business plan so it does not need to be an exact number but the closer the better. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. i did post it on dropzone... i used it as a generic message... i am also looking for stats on BASE and speed flying, which i thought some here might be able to help.

sorry guys didnt look closely enough at the wording, that was a letter i wrote to the USPA, i have edited it to make more sense in this forum.

if there is no room for error, 39 =<= 26,068 BASE jumpers worldwide. This has been a slightly conservative exact answer. speed flying there are four of us. give or take a few thousand.
this is an impossible task, really. been tried and failed. good luck though.

the four of you pluss give or take a few thousand? lol thanks hecker, i dont think i even need to finish my bp now, i actually think this information could even help solve our world food crisis!

BASE # Holders: 1,300+
Of course there is a lot of
overlap in those 3 groups.
