in the recent post requesting help to get into BASE, someone asked if we could sticky standardized information at the top of the forum. that lead me to wonder, are users even clicking on the link to "The Rules?"

Weird, first thing I found when I started researching about BASE was fatality list, I think it actually was a good thing to start with, link to it should be sticky or on the front page, would keep many new comers realize some stuff about BASE before getting to exited about it...
On the other hand I gues media would love that too, which is not so good...

I read the rules on DZ.com years ago. And interpreted them the way most religons interpret the bible.


Did they change when the sites split ?

Now that is funny! I guess that means that if I do the same thing I can go on ahead and interpret/change the rules to fit my own personal and completely different than it was originally meant to be rules! Sweet!
Does that also mean that I can completely sweep under the rug all the stuff that happens to be obviously false just like in the Bible?

"anyway the thing is what I really mean" (copyrighted in 1969, written by?) it looks like less than a fifth of people are clicking on a readily available link. if "normal" BASE jumpers can't read The Rules, I seriously doubt any pumped up newbie will read all the stuff that they should, without some encouragement.
