Proper Translation: I've just recieved the sad news that Roar has passed. The accident happened in LauterBrunnen earlier today (saturday). The exact circumstances are not known, but according to Magnus who brought the sad news, he jumped a new wingsuit (phantom) without much experience with it.. He jumped, disappeared and Magnus lost sight of him, supposedly there was no sound of a canopy opening either. At this particular moment this is all i know. Fly free buddy!

Gestern um etwa 17 Uhr begab sich der als erfahrene Basejumper geltende Mann an die Staldenfluh. Vom Yellow Ocean aus wollte er einen Basejump mit Wingsuits ausführen. Er kam aber zu keinem Gleitflug.
Aus noch zu klärenden Gründen öffnete sich der Fallschirm zu spät. Unterhalb des Wandfusses stürzte der Mann ab und prallte beinahe ungebremst auf dem Waldboden auf.
Die Rettungskräfte der Air Glaciers mit dem Notarzt konnten nur noch den Tod des Basejumpers feststellen.
Es handelt sich beim Todesopfer um einen 35-jährigen Norweger.

yesterday around 5:0Gpm the experienced basejumper went to the staldenfluh. from yellow ocean he wanted to do a basejump with a wingsuit. but a glide didnt occur.
from unknown reasons as of now his parachute opened too late. the man impacted in the forest at the bottom of the wall at almost terminal velocity.
the rescue from air glacier and the emergency doctor could only note the death of the man.
the victim is a 35yrs old norwegian.
