yes

Re: [garyharbird] gargoyle question
Yes it is normal, and that is why I choose to route my bridle the alternate way the manual describes to you. It allows for the pin to be extracted easily with zero tension on the bridle.

yes that is normal!
moreover the velcro on the bridle is bad because the hooks of the velcro can cause damage to the sewing on the center cell of your canopy when the canopy is in flight and the bridle is just getting dragged behind. i've seen that on multiple canopies!

Thanks Jojo, never though about that.

the hooks should be on the rig, loops on the bridle..

i think he's talking about the "idiot loop"... which on bridles made by Asylum anyway, there is both hook and loop above the top pin to pinch a piece of the bridle together.

Also on Apex DPs too

Re: [blitzkrieg] gargoyle question
yes, you are correct!
i'm talking about the little pieces of velcro (hooks and loops) that are on some bridles to make sure the top pin has enough bridle length to be pulled out! Wink btw: that would be completely unnecessary if the bridle would be coming out of the rig in between the pins Wink
