So another PIA has come and gone and it seems like the skydiving companies have come up with some pretty exciting new products. Were any of the major BASE manufacturers represented at PIA? Did they have any shiny new technology to show off?

Aerodyne announced that they'll be making canopies with ZPX, a lower bulk honeycomb ripstop ZP fabric. It seems like this would be a really dimensionally stable material for PC construction. Would it give all of the benefits of the pie slice type construction (a'la Asylum's Toxic) without the labor and increased cost? Are any of our beloved BASE manufacturers looking into this as a possibility?

I spoke with Robert recently and there are experiments going on already, I imagine we will see it soon.

 
Why don't you just build one your self? Momies home sewing machine will do it. If you want inovation make it happen.

Aww c'mon Lee... You know that Mommy's Singer Touch 'n Sew worked repairing a taffeta Para Commander for us wannabe riggers. ZP is a whole nother can-o-worms. That shit is like wrangling rattlers. I'd rather pay than throw the sewing machine out the window in frustration and not be able to fix my jammies

There are a lot of different types of base jumps, f-111 is best for all jumps?

i replace my pilot shoots when i lose them or tear them or somehow else ruin them.
