documentary on base jumpers
hi -

I am working on a canadian documentary TV series called My Last 24.

The show focuses on the moments leading up to somebody making a major decision or doing something out of the ordinary for the first time.

I was wondering if you could help me get in touch with Canadian Base jumpers. I am looking for somebody with a big personality who would allow us to film the moments leading to their first BASE jump.

I would also be interested in finding out if there is a specific base jump which nobody has yet attempted but that everybody fears and being able to film the person who is crazy enough to attempt it. That person would not have to be a Canadian.

Any help or information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

You can contact me at:

Thanks-

yeah, and if you are lucky that person even goes in or get's hurt on that jump. That would be really great to have on camera! You need to find someone who is willing to give it all and do it becaues it's in front of the camera... I'm sure you'll get lucky, you will find someone willing to do this

There are no Canadian Base Jumpers.

And wouldn't that mean that this big personality person isn't yet a basejumper.

I'm from somewhere else.

I always like how all these big time production companies that ask for all this BASE documentary stuff...

-never talk about compensation
-don't appear to have done any research about BASE prior
-always have emails of @hotmail.com or @gmail.com

guessing that means low budget

that generally means heading down to West Virginia in October for Bridge Day. many first timers jump there, thus you have a better chance of finding the right person.

a jump nobody has done? that means danger. besides managing weather, the object, the unknowns, and emotions, the jumper would also need to consider the needs of a camera crew.

please be careful with self-nominated people. we have more than a few "glory hounds" that may respond to your inquiry. words like careful, safe, and professional don't always apply to them. that may be what you want, assuming they don't get in over their heads...

A documentary filming someone

Please watch the best & funniest

It shows TV sucks and why the slope
