Obama adviser considers BASE?
“One thing that we learned over two years is that there’s a whole different conversation in Washington than there is out here,” said David Axelrod, the president’s senior adviser. “If I had listened to the conversation in Washington during the campaign for president, I would have jumped off a building about a year and a half ago.” http://www.nytimes.com/...ics/10assess.html?em
It seems as though we're very close to getting BASE jumping to be a regular part of the Obama administration. I think this could be valuable for the community in terms of deregulation. We need to find out how to get this guy listening to more Washington conversations. We need to find our points of contact in our community to get this guy the proper training. It is obvious he has both the desire to start BASE jumping and the position in order to really bring us some positive PR.
