It seems as though we're very close to getting BASE jumping to be a regular part of the Obama administration. I think this could be valuable for the community in terms of deregulation. We need to find out how to get this guy listening to more Washington conversations. We need to find our points of contact in our community to get this guy the proper training. It is obvious he has both the desire to start BASE jumping and the position in order to really bring us some positive PR.

And the best thing is its a win-win situation which ever direction it goes. Either a jumper more or a politician less!

Now we just need to push Obama off a building... Maybe one of his special interest groups will ground crew...

as this one seems far more political than about BASE, I think I'll shift it to "The Hangout."

and remember, those who protect the president lack a sense of humor. it's never good joking about harming the pres if you are in reach of these guys. (not that I have ANY reason to think they would ever read this. odds are they will not.)
