Riggerlee-His knowledge of Baffin Island BigWall jumping and Being a Master Rigger and all would make for a good start to a great read. I think. He would have some of kilter answers to alot of questions.

Para-Frog-He would straight up have an entertaining perspective take on things. No holds barred, with a military twist.

Johnny Woody - He's jumped just about everywhere & he's full of really neat stories. Ask him about the time he caught hepatitis at Angel Falls.

Yuri - He's a super experienced jumper and pioneer with some twisted stories to share.

As it is my pet project, I have the definitive word.

That being said, I did ask Hank to offer me his choice for the next subject upon completing his interview. Being new to the forum I considered his input valuable. Following his suggestion, I have begun the interview process with RiggerLee.

I have also scheduled the next 2 interviews for the following months with wwarped and BASE386.

I know some of you would like to hear from the social retards for entertainment value. However, if I am to devote my time to working with a person, I prefer the subjects to be men of substance. In other words, "negative nancies", "attention seekers" and "board bullies" need not apply.

well, I like the idea of the interviewee nominating the next candidate. we are still working on the details.

as far as me, I replied to her 50+ question e-mail. so did 2 others. she is sorting things out. we may not be nearly as colorful or easy to write about as is Hank. remember, she isn't a journalist major. she is doing this as a hobby, and to learn more about the sport.

and as Joy pointed out, women ought to be interviewed as well.

I'd like to thank those who've encouraged this idea. I really would like to see more lurkers contributing. I welcome new ideas.

you seem to miss a key point. only you seem to think Hank might want to assume the task. and I can't understand why. no one suggested that. no one else has posted anything remotely in agreement.

now if others think they can do better, fine. go for it.
ANYONE can conduct an interview or post an article. I see no reason it must be even remotely related to BASE. (see the recent chess match.) all I ask is that it gets placed in the appropriate forum.

(remember, back when this was part of dz.com, we only had 1 forum. the social stuff could remain elsewhere.)

and if you don't like her work, don't read it. plain and simple.

finally, please refrain from calling anyone names. you surely are clever enough to know "asshat" would be considered a personal attack. few would agree with a ton of stuff on this site. just because you or I disagree with it does NOT mean others find value. the main content I want suppressed is stuff that is blatantly dangerous to people or BASE.

I have quite limited powers here. I only have authority on several of the forums. the mods are listed at the bottom of the main page of a forum.

I'm sure Stinky Lee will make for a wonderful interviewee, however TLN, you clearly still don't understand BASE (not that THAT's a problem) since anyone and nearly everyone involved, ESPECIALLY Lee, could accurately be described as a social retard. Do you still not see why that might lead one towards such endeavors??

Don't take this personally, I really do think you are doing a good job, you just might be overestimating both your subjects and their audience . . . ?
