Re: [nicrussell] do you think foot launching is a base jump?

I like it, a lot actually. Release date?
2010-2030, depending on how long i live, how often I get bored and add to it, it is mostly about rope jumping 'theory' (the pointless simple physics of rope energy absorption rates, force vectors, resulting inertial vectors, blah blah blah), and some newbie BASE stories, building hang gliders, teenage winter mountaineering climbs, growing up in the middle class non-urban mountains, and other tales of doing really stupid things, miraculously surviving them, and attempting to learn from them.
the goal is the literary opposite of "fall of the phantom lord" ( "fall of the phantom lord" was a glorifying biography about a SUPER skilled rock climber who died rope jumping) I kinda want mine to be a semi-autobiography, semi documentary, semi "how not to do" book about a jumper who lived.
