I dont understand what the big deal is? I get the whole thing about posting the video, but talking about Travis Pastrana or someone sponsored by RedBull in general?? If there were ever a great person to be an ambassador to a sport, its Travis. Look what he's done for freestyle motocross, or more recently, Rally USA. I've met Travis and the guy is one of the most badass people on the planet, and yet is still humble and down to earth.
Anyways, not tryin to ride his dick or anything... just don't get it.

a:) the video post or
b:) the fact that it's a "redbull sponsored Travis Pastrana"?

I can clear two things up.

I have ZERO say over what video gets posted (unless it's attached to a thread). I am allowed to express my thoughts, just like any other user. I objected to the video as a jumper.

secondly, this is NOT the thread to continue this discussion. as the moderator, I want to see this discussion in the original thread. that lets people easily see ALL previous posts.

If this isn't the thread, then what is? My questions pertained to the second post in THIS thread. If this isn't the thread that the Travis Pastrana controversy started on, then please direct me to it. I really don't see what all the fuss is about, but I guess I may be missing a whole other part of this story.

Is this the other side of the story that I am missing here??

the link you supplied is probably the main thread. it became locked because the original poster enjoyed agitating. little constructive came from that exchange, thus the thread you cited is locked.
