At BD 08 myself and roughly fifty other people particimitated in a survey that involved answering 876 questions, providing several saliva and blood samples and one inadvertent stool sample. This was the first time I had given blood in the sport. Does anyone know if the results of this survey have been released or if they ever will be or is my DNA now being mixed with a sheep somewhere in WV. Because I swear that has never happened before.

I took part in it as well, and it was my understanding that the results would be given to us once the study was completed. I don't remember when they hoped to be done, but I'd guess it won't be for several months still

Omer Meidan, a BASE jumper and doctor from Israel, conducted the study. He's probably dodging bullets right now and trying to keep your DNA safe from Hamas rockets. If I hear anything from him, I'll keep you all updated. I would imagine he'll post his own results shortly.

PS. If we mixed base jumper DNA with a sheep, just imagine how many barbed-wire fences those sheep could sneak over...

I'm not in research anymore, but I majored in Biology in College. I talked to the guy doing the study at BD, and from the information I gathered, it shouldn't take that long to come up with a result. I'm sure they have the results already, but they are probably trying to get their experiment published, which in the Bio world, takes time.

Or worse, if they mix sheeps DNA with base jumpers, all fences will be unclimable.....

they weren't collage students it was a team from red bull trying to make a new formula for a energy drink and they told me i was to impaired, wtf like the rest of you weren't drunk

or worse, after mixing DNA the sheep would go on trying to rape innocent bystanders..
