For what it is worth, I just got 1291

I did my qualifier, a legal E in NorCal, on 11/25, just got my response back today.

Thanks to those that got me to exit points along the way (looking at you Leroy and 935) and those that got me gear in the first place (again, 935 and Paul).

It has been fun and will stay that way, hopefully for a long time.

congratulations! getting their number always pumps up the recipient.

since you posted your accomplishment here, you might as well do so here as well.

oh, and if you wish to jump for a long time, I'd recommend listening to the folks familiar with carnage. i.e. take it slow.

Trust me, I understand that one. I teach people how to jump out of planes, so that "be receptive to learning, it will save your life" thing is well ingrained.

secondly - seeing how many jumps you racked up between your first and your qualifying jump, I don't think you need to prove to us that you know all about "taking it slow"

Sorry I lived on the east coast, where there is a distinct lack of cliffs to jump off of, ahhaa.

All it took was a move cross country to jump off of a 280'er.

Actually I believe him. I know the people he jumps with. There are a few objects around here you can jump regularly so it's easy to stay current.
