Re: [j_ung] Classified scam
i loosely exchanged emails with kelvin dorris and then severed all communication for at least 2 weeks. last night at the mailbox, i recieved an envelope from none other than him. Inside was a blank piece of paper wrapped around 4 (four) postal money orders, each for the amount of $775. $775 x 4 = $3100. now, as happy as i was to see that much money, i just knew it couldnt be real. but what if it was? so i took it to the bank and when they turned out to be fake it caused a huge scene. the bank is now filing police reports citing the name on the MO's as a Lisa Barney, from Marrietta Ga. so keep an eye out for her as well.

Even moreso when it is skydiving/base gear. I was selling a canopy and got a scammer asking if the "item was working perfectly"?

I said "well actually..." and went on to bs about how it had a few holes but still worked ok, and appranantly that didn't phase him...
