Hawaii Five-O
A few days ago in a post I mentioned my typical process for reconning new objects
that I plan to jump solo:
1) take some digital photos
2) research any online data
3) walk the LZ in the daylight
4) scout access & get aways
5) distance to medical help
6) get to the exit point (dry run)
Now step #6 might not have started as
a planned action as much how things
usually turn out for me.
Till Santa gets here I don't have a laser
so climbing w/ my Suunto acts a double
check on the altitude data.
Plus as we all know looking at a jump
from the exit point is different than on
the ground or from your keyboard.
Someone replied step #6 is a bad idea
because it doubles my chances of getting
busted. Good point.
So after much ado, this poll is just trying
to get a feel for the statistical bust factor.
