So I dont really understand foreign language....Did he do that on purpose????? It seems as if he went straight for it and commited to the jump. Did he get hurt at all?

I agree that the heli crew should be shot...or they could go and do the jump themselves and the skier can get it on film for their amazing blunder.

the heli/cam crew say in french : Il s'est trompé : He's wrong (as in he is going the wrong way). I'm not that kind of skier, but my guess is once you see your skis are off the snow, you know it's gonna be hard to stop, so you'd better pull your best stability skills out of your pocket.
