time has come, we have released our movie "Streamlined 08".
Most of the film focuses on D-Bag and Acro Paragliding, BUT it's including some fine wingsuite scenes (MonteBrento, Italy) too, done by one of austria's best wingsuite jumper. please check it out here, and give us some feedback!

THAT was a great film.

the contrast turned up a little high, but those were some good Dbags and amazing acro. is that the new Ozone glider? the 4609 i think its called?

thanks for your reply. The high contrast in Streamlined is kind of a style device... The original DVD comes in HD Quality Widescreen, it's better to watch than on hobnox. Every platform, like myspace f.e. converts your video in their own way, so when you upload something, you're always far away from your original quality.

The glider used for the acro is an OZONE FLX, the one for the DBAG from Bridge, aircraft and hot air ballon is an OZONE 6907 and the one used at cable car is an OZONE Vulcan. Many Many thanks again for your reply!!

can you explain how the D-bag work,
what abut combining the PG and wingsuit to gather next time, excellent job on video.

Great video. What was the opening shock like when jumping from the plane?

I just jumped a glider off a cliff in Moab last week, looking into doing it with an acro glider around the beautiful cliffs in moab very soon.

quite simply, a Direct bag with a no-slider paraglider packed nose open, the same way we do it with BASE canopies from low stuff, (only with sick high performance paragliders)

I know what base D-bag look like it don't let you hang by it, how is the release part work, that is what I was wondering,

I know two variants for release. One is made by small metal carabiners which can be openend by a special system. The other system is a loop construction where the splint is pushed out if you want to release.

Important for mounting of the release system. Always fix the release system to the jumpers side and not to D-Bag side, because release system at D-Bag side can damage the glider during launch.

I forgot one more release system ... get a sharp knife :-)

We have a basis description on our homepage about packing a d-bag. For Paraglider to Paraglider or Ballon to Paraglider D-Bags you can use this method very well. For more precious openings you should develeope your own procedure / system depending on your glider type.

It was very very fast. The canopy immidiately inflated when reaching the airstream and when i looked up and wanted to check, it was already far behind me.

I forgot another one possibility. I saw people using the release system of a car saftey belt. I think this should work well, but needs to be handmade.

I have used commercial airline airplane safety belts for releases, not in PG dnags but other rope riggin applications. the lever release works really well.

and the metal carabiner type release you mentioned being used for some PG dbags is a large version of our skydiving RSL quicklink. literally the exact same thing only 3x scale.

Sorta .... I could see it was very very fast. What I meant was, did it hurt!

I really enjoyed the movie. It's being posted on non parachute forums as well.

No there was no hurt or pain. The only felt pain was during climb up and waiting time at the ramp, because the harness was tightened very strong.

There was much pressure to feel after exit but no hurt. As you can think of, a little bit of adrenalin was involved and maybe this can falsify some facts.
